POLS 264 Disaster Politics: New Orleans in the Wake of Hurricane Katrina

This course is a "hands-on" experience requiring students to live in New Orleans for most of January working to rebuild and restore the city while studying the politics of disasters disaster recovery federalism local politics grassroots politics activism race and public policy. Permission of instructor required.
