MATH 210 Discrete Mathematics

This course is an introduction to proofs course centered around discrete mathematics. Topics include: The language of sets and logic, including propositional and predicate calculus, formal and informal proofs using truth tables, formal rules of inference, and mathematical induction; Congruences and modular arithmetic; Elementary counting techniques; and Abstract relations, including equivalence relations.
