SOC 225 Masculinities

This course examines the construction and reproduction of masculinities primarily in the United States. We explore the impact these gendered identities have on individual's lives and social interactions. Consideration will be given to the intersection of ethnicity, race, class, age, sexual orientation, and gender and the role of social institutions and inequities in the social construction of masculinities.
