- Expand your creative workflows through non-linear interactive composition, experimental sound design, and multimedia
- Push the limits of established boundaries in music expression and technology, from the early innovations of electronic music to applications in new media and video games music
- Gain a basic understanding of machine improvisation and machine learning, including the use of large language models (e.g. GPT)
- Use the Max/MSP/Jitter programming environment for audio and video--a standard in the field--designed to be accessible to students with no programming experience
- Create music and programs by visually connecting objects on the screen, making it easy to prototype your sonic ideas and explore music composition and improvisation by integrating sensor technology and multimedia
