BIO 215 Invertebrate Form and Function

Consideration of the physiological responses and adaptations of invertebrates to their environments, including the underlying physiological and biochemical mechanisms. A comparative approach emphasizing aquatic invertebrates, parasites, and symbionts, as well as structural and functional features. Students will be exposed to primary research literature and experimental design in ecological physiology. Includes one three-hour laboratory per week.
