PSYC 339 Positive Psychology
This course explores the psychological phenomena that surround the optimal functioning of individuals, groups, and systems with an emphasis on scientifically-validated strategies for living a more satisfying life. Topics include gratitude, charitable giving, exercise, breath and mindfulness, habit formation, and other key tenents of positive psychology research. This course will also emphasize applications of positive psychology research to improve our own lives as well as our communities and the planet.
