AMST 493 Senior Directed Research
This advanced directed research course is designed for American Studies majors who are completing an approved research project in their senior year (and after completion of the Second-Stage Writing requirement). Over the course of the semester, the student will work with a research adviser/mentor on multiple drafts and revision of a 25-page essay that meets the same criteria as a senior comprehensives essay. The seminar will culminate in a presentation of the research at the end of the semester. Instructor permission required.
Prerequisite
Student must be a senior AMST major and have completed the AMST second-stage writing requirement.
