Art Outside the Bounds: everything was once something else (ceramic studio class)
In this hands-on technical ceramic studio course, students will explore the nature of clay through a series of two to three main projects. Led by visiting Wanlass artist Roksana Pirouzmand, the class will focus on developing technical skills while encouraging the expression of each student's personal visual language. Students will learn foundational techniques working with clay, including hand-building and surface treatments. The course will challenge students to consider the history and potential of their materials and to leave with a deeper understanding of the creative process and the expressive possibilities of clay.
