CHEM 240 Integrated Concepts in General Chemistry

Building on concepts developed in prerequisite classes, fundamental concepts in thermodynamics are developed from first principles, with subsequent application in chemical equilibrium and electrochemistry. Applications to biological systems and technology are emphasized. Includes one three-hour laboratory per week that focuses on developing analytical skills.
