SPAN 101 Beginning Spanish I

A communicative approach to the Spanish language. Emphasis is placed on the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, as well as grammar, with a particular focus on the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. Students who have had more than one year of Spanish in high school or more than one quarter in college may not take this course for credit.
