KINE 302 Biomechanics

This course examines the kinematics and kinetics of human movement as applied to the musculoskeletal system. Students analyze how muscle, bone, connective tissue, and neural structures contribute to movement performance, posture, and injury mechanisms. Laboratory work is integrated with lecture material and emphasizes mechanical principles, muscle and tissue mechanics, joint motion, postural analysis, and applied movement analysis using video-based tools. Includes one three-hour laboratory per week.
