THEA 142 Folk and Historical Dance
In this course, students study folk and historical dances drawn principally from Europe and the Near East, along with dances of the Americas derived from those traditions. These are dances that build community; forms include solo, circle, line, and set dances as well as partner dances. Optional dancing and performance opportunities on and off campus. The course is offered only for grades of Credit/No Credit and may be repeated for credit.
