PSYC 350 Psychology of Gender
The course will survey diverse psychological perspectives on gender and its personal and cultural implications. Will explore: meanings of gender evolutionary physiological developmental and sociocultural roots of gender difference; the relation of gender to cognition personality sexuality health interpersonal relationships and political power; the commensurability of various theoretical approaches to gender.
