MATH 396 Mathematical Modeling

A project-oriented introduction to mathematical modeling. Techniques from calculus, linear algebra, and other areas of mathematics will be used to solve problems from the life, physical, and social sciences. Familiarity with a programming language is desirable but not required. This course may be taken up to two times for credit.
