CHEM 104 From Fundamental Chemistry to the Human Genome

This is a course suitable for non-majors and covers the chemical bases of life. The course will be structured around the chemistry of the fundamental building blocks of life - nucleic acids, proteins, polysaccharides, etc. - and how they interact to support the cellular life. Examples of the specific topics include the evolution of the human genome.
