MUSC 231 Piano Proficiency I

In this course, students learn a broad range of keyboard skills: basic keyboard technique, sight reading, harmonization of melodies, transposition, and accompanying. Students also learn to play elementary repertoire. MUSC 231 and MUSC 232 are required of the music production concentration of the Music major. Prerequisite: MUSC 101.
