The Student Progress Committee
The Student Progress Committee is charged with interpreting and enforcing academic policies. Chaired by the associate dean for student academic affairs, it is comprised of the associate deans of the college, the registrar, the director of academic advising, the associate registrar of curriculum, the director of disability services and student support, the director of financial aid, the associate dean of students, and the director of student success. The Student Progress Committee decides questions of academic standing, readmission to the college after a required academic leave due to academic standing, and reviews and makes decisions on Independent Patterns of Study and petitions for special consideration.
